What is CVE-2012-4012?

The WebView class in the Cybozu KUNAI application prior to version 2.0.6 for Android is vulnerable to a remote code execution attack. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript code and retrieve sensitive information by exploiting crafted applications that embed malicious code in local files associated with file: URLs. Users of affected versions should take immediate steps to update their application to mitigate the risk of unauthorized access and safeguard sensitive data.
