Summary

The vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute denial of service attacks on Cisco IOS running on 10000 series routers. Specifically, when a tunnel interface is configured, attackers can exploit the vulnerability through GRE/IP, IPIP, or IPv6 in IPv4 tunneled packets. This attack can lead to an interface queue wedge, effectively rendering the router's functionality impaired and disrupting network services.
