What is CVE-2012-4713?

An integer signedness error in RNADiagnostics.dll within the Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Services Platform can be exploited through specially crafted UDP data. This flaw allows remote attackers to induce a denial of service condition, potentially causing a service outage or crashing the RNADiagReceiver.exe daemon. Affected versions include multiple iterations of CPR9 and its service releases.
