What is CVE-2012-5876?

Multiple off-by-one errors in NMMediaServerService.dll within Nero MediaHome 4.5.8.0 and earlier versions could be exploited by attackers sending specially crafted requests. These long strings in the request line or HTTP Referer header to TCP port 54444 may lead to a heap-based buffer overflow, resulting in a denial of service condition, causing the service to crash and disrupt access for legitimate users.
