What is CVE-2012-5877?

Nero MediaHome versions up to 4.5.8.0 are susceptible to a denial of service attack that occurs when an attacker sends a specially crafted HTTP header without a name. This can lead to a NULL pointer dereference, causing the application to crash and thereby disrupting service. Proper input validation is necessary to mitigate this vulnerability.
