What is CVE-2013-10047?

An unrestricted file upload vulnerability exists in the MiniWeb HTTP Server, permitting unauthenticated remote attackers to upload arbitrary files to the server’s filesystem. By exploiting the upload handler and manipulating a traversal path, attackers can position a malicious executable file in the system32 directory and a .mof file in the WMI directory. This exploitation can lead to execution of the payload with SYSTEM privileges through the Windows Management Instrumentation service, primarily affecting Windows versions prior to Vista.
