What is CVE-2013-10060?

An OS command injection vulnerability has been identified in Netgear DGN2200B routers, allowing authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands remotely. This issue arises via the pppoe.cgi endpoint, specifically through crafted input to the pppoe_username parameter. Successful exploitation enables full access and control over the compromised device, potentially leading to persistent threats that survive device reboots unless configurations are restored.
