What is CVE-2013-10064?
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability is present in ActFax Server version 5.01. The vulnerability arises from the RAW protocol interface's inability to safely handle user-supplied data found in @F506 fax header fields, attributed to the insecure use of the strcpy function. Remote attackers may exploit this flaw by crafting malicious @F506 fields, which could potentially lead to arbitrary code execution on the affected server. Exploitation requires network access to TCP port 4559 and does not necessitate user authentication.
