What is CVE-2013-1183?

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) functionality within the Manager component of Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) versions 1.0 and 1.1. This flaw permits remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending carefully crafted malformed data within a UDP packet. The vulnerability could allow unauthorized access and malicious control over affected systems, posing significant risks to network integrity and security.
