What is CVE-2013-1187?
The Connection Manager component of Cisco's Jabber Extensible Communications Platform (Jabber XCP) has a vulnerability that stems from inadequate validation of login data. This flaw allows remote attackers to send specially crafted login packets to the server. If exploited, this can lead to a denial of service condition, potentially resulting in system instability or crashes.
