What is CVE-2013-2480?

The RTPS and RTPS2 dissectors in Wireshark versions 1.6.x prior to 1.6.14 and 1.8.x prior to 1.8.6 are vulnerable to a denial of service attack. Remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted packets to the application, leading to an unexpected crash and interruption of service.
