What is CVE-2013-3220?

Certain versions of Bitcoin Core and wxBitcoin exhibit a vulnerability where the system does not properly handle the size of a block, leading to an excessive number of database locks. This behavior can be exploited by remote attackers to perform a denial of service attack, potentially allowing them to initiate double-spending activities through large blocks that trigger faulty Berkeley DB locking mechanisms.
