What is CVE-2013-3930?

Core FTP versions prior to 2.2 build 1785 are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, which allows remote FTP servers to potentially execute arbitrary code. This exploitation occurs when a malicious server responds to a CWD (Change Working Directory) command with a crafted directory name, compromising the integrity of the application and putting users at risk.
