What is CVE-2013-4077?

A vulnerability in the NBAP dissector of Wireshark versions 1.8.x prior to 1.8.8 allows remote attackers to exploit an array index error. By sending specially crafted packets, attackers can trigger a denial of service, causing the application to crash. This issue is linked to the handling of certain packets within the nbap.cnf and packet-nbap.c files, creating a significant risk for systems using affected versions of Wireshark.
