What is CVE-2013-4216?

The Trace_OpenLogFile function within the Intel WiMAX Network Service's Trace module fails to enforce appropriate file permissions on the wimaxd.log file. As a result, local users can modify this world-writable log file, leading to potential data corruption and denial of service. This vulnerability affects Intel Wireless WiMAX Connection 2400 devices up to and including version 1.5.2.
