What is CVE-2013-5025?

An ActiveX control in the exlauncher.dll component of the Help subsystem in National Instruments LabWindows/CVI prior to 2013 can be exploited by remote attackers. By triggering the display of local example files, an attacker can induce a denial of service condition, interrupting the normal operation of the software. This vulnerability poses risks to system stability and availability for users reliant on LabWindows/CVI.
