What is CVE-2013-5387?

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in IBM Platform Symphony versions 5.2, 6.1, and 6.1.1, which can be exploited by remote attackers. By sending a crafted SOAP request with excessive data, attackers can trigger a denial of service, causing the application to crash or hang, impacting availability and performance.
