What is CVE-2013-6430?

The JavaScriptUtils.javaScriptEscape method in Spring MVC contains a flaw that permits remote attackers to exploit cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities. This occurs due to improper escaping of certain special characters, including line separators, paragraph separators, and angle brackets. Attackers can leverage this mechanism to inject malicious scripts into web applications, potentially compromising user data and application integrity.
