What is CVE-2014-1441?

Core FTP Server versions prior to build 515 are susceptible to a denial of service attack. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a malformed AUTH SSL command, which can lead to server crashes. This could be triggered, for example, by pressing the enter key twice, causing a reachable assertion. As a result, the server becomes unresponsive to legitimate requests, impacting availability and potentially disrupting services.
