What is CVE-2014-1443?

Core FTP Server versions earlier than build 515 contain a vulnerability that allows remote authenticated users to access sensitive information, such as the password of the previous user. This issue is potentially caused by an out-of-bounds read that can be triggered through a specially crafted USER command. Such exposure of sensitive data may lead to unauthorized access and require prompt attention from system administrators.
