What is CVE-2014-3696?

A vulnerability exists in the Novell GroupWise protocol plugin of Pidgin prior to version 2.10.10 that can be exploited by remote servers. By sending specifically crafted messages, an attacker can trigger a substantial memory allocation process, resulting in an application crash.
