What is CVE-2014-5252?

The V3 API in OpenStack Identity (Keystone) allows remote authenticated users to bypass token expiration by updating the issued_at value for UUID v2 tokens. By making a verification GET or HEAD request to v3/auth/tokens/, users can maintain access even after the token should have expired, potentially resulting in unauthorized access to sensitive resources.
