Omron's CX-One software and various PLC devices have a vulnerability that allows remote attackers to capture sensitive information. This is achieved through the cleartext transmission of passwords during a PLC unlock request. Potential attackers can exploit this weakness by sniffing the network traffic, which may lead to unauthorized access and control over the affected devices.
