What is CVE-2015-1427?

A vulnerability in the Groovy scripting engine of Elasticsearch allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands by bypassing the sandbox protection mechanism. This flaw affects versions prior to 1.3.8 and 1.4.x before 1.4.3, posing significant risks if exploited in a vulnerable environment. Attackers can execute crafted scripts that lead to unauthorized command execution, which may compromise the entire system's integrity.
