What is CVE-2015-4273?
The Packet Data Network Gateway (PGW) component on Cisco ASR 5000 devices is susceptible to a denial of service condition. Remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability by sending malformed fields within an IP packet, resulting in a Session Manager outage. The affected software versions include 15.0(912), 15.0(935), and 15.0(938). Organizations utilizing these software versions are advised to review their security protocols and apply relevant updates to mitigate potential attacks.
