What is CVE-2015-4684?

Multiple directory traversal vulnerabilities have been identified in Polycom RealPresence Resource Manager (RPRM) prior to version 8.4. These vulnerabilities allow remote authenticated users to exploit the system by utilizing a '..' sequence in the Modifier parameter during file download operations. Furthermore, remote authenticated administrators may inadvertently upload arbitrary files through specific parameters or read and delete files via the filePathName parameter in an importSipUriReservations SOAP request. This could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive files, posing significant security risks.
