What is CVE-2015-5295?

The OpenStack Orchestration API (Heat) contains a vulnerability that permits remote authenticated users to utilize the template-validate command to launch a denial of service attack. This occurs due to excessive memory consumption, which can be exploited via the inclusion of specific resource types in a template. An attacker can potentially determine the existence of local files, including sensitive system resources, leading to interruption in service availability for legitimate users.
