What is CVE-2015-5721?

The Malware Information Sharing Platform (MISP) prior to version 2.3.90 is susceptible to PHP object injection attacks. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to craft serialized data that, when processed, can lead to unauthorized execution of code within the application. The issue is traced back to the TemplatesController.php and the function responsible for processing templates, specifically 'populate_event_from_template_attributes.ctp'. Attackers leveraging this vulnerability can manipulate the application's behavior and potentially gain access to sensitive information.
