Summary

A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the advanced settings page of Fortinet's FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer products. This vulnerability allows remote administrators to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML code through manipulated report filter vectors. Specifically, the affected versions of FortiManager (5.x prior to 5.0.12 and 5.2.x before 5.2.3) and FortiAnalyzer (5.x prior to 5.0.13 and 5.2.x before 5.2.3) may lead to unauthorized execution of scripts in the context of the user's browser, potentially compromising sensitive information and application integrity.
