What is CVE-2015-7429?

A vulnerability exists in the Data Protection extension of the VMware GUI for IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Virtual Environments and Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager. This flaw enables remote authenticated users to restore any virtual machine, potentially exposing sensitive data through unauthorized access in the vSphere inventory.
