What is CVE-2015-7581?

The Action Pack component of Ruby on Rails versions prior to 4.2.5.1 in the 4.x series and before 5.0.0.beta1.1 in the 5.x series has a vulnerability that allows remote attackers to exploit wildcard controller routes. This can lead to superfluous caching and excessive memory consumption, resulting in a denial of service condition. Developers using these versions should take immediate action to apply updates and secure their applications.
