What is CVE-2015-7888?

The WifiHs20UtilityService on the Samsung S6 Edge has a directory traversal vulnerability that enables remote attackers to manipulate files on the device. By leveraging a 'dot dot' (../) sequence in the filename of a file compressed in a zip archive (cred.zip), an attacker can overwrite or create arbitrary files within the system user's directories. This flaw poses significant risks as unauthorized file access could lead to further exploitation of the device.
