What is CVE-2015-8011?

A buffer overflow issue exists in the lldp_decode function within lldpd versions prior to 0.8.0. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to exploit the software by sending crafted packets with large management addresses and TLV boundaries, potentially leading to a daemon crash and giving the attacker the capability to execute arbitrary code.
