What is CVE-2015-8089?
The GPU driver in Huawei P7 smartphones, prior to specified software versions, contains a vulnerability that permits local users to read or write to arbitrary locations within kernel memory. This flaw could result in a denial of service, causing the device to crash, or may allow the attacker to escalate their privileges through a specially crafted application. Users of the affected models are advised to upgrade their software to mitigate these risks.
