What is CVE-2015-8230?

The Huawei eSpace 8950 IP phones are susceptible to a memory leak vulnerability that can be exploited by remote attackers. By sending a large number of specially crafted ARP packets, an attacker may induce excessive memory consumption, leading to a denial of service condition. This results in the affected devices becoming temporarily unresponsive and may necessitate a restart to regain normal functionality. Users of the affected software versions should apply necessary patches or updates to mitigate this risk.
