What is CVE-2015-8368?

ntopng versions prior to 2.2 are susceptible to a privilege escalation vulnerability, allowing remote authenticated users to manipulate the login context. By exploiting the user cookie and the username parameter within the admin/password_reset.lua file, attackers can gain elevated privileges within the system, potentially compromising sensitive data and functionality.
