Denial of Service Vulnerability in IBM DB2 Database Products
CVE-2016-0211
4.3MEDIUM
What is CVE-2016-0211?
IBM DB2 versions 9.7 through FP11, 9.8, 10.1 through FP5, and 10.5 through FP7 on Linux, UNIX, and Windows are susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability. Remote authenticated users can exploit this flaw through the sending of specially crafted DRDA messages, resulting in the unintended termination of the daemon process, leading to a service disruption. Administrators should apply the latest updates and patches to mitigate this risk.
