What is CVE-2016-0735?
Apache Ranger 0.5.x versions prior to 0.5.2 have an access control vulnerability that permits remote authenticated users to circumvent intended parent resource-level access restrictions. This issue arises due to the misconfiguration of a resource-level exclude policy, potentially allowing unauthorized access to sensitive resources. Users are advised to upgrade to version 0.5.2 or later to mitigate this risk.
