What is CVE-2016-0780?

The identified vulnerability in certain versions of Pivotal Cloud Foundry Elastic Runtime allows attackers to improperly enforce disk quotas. Specifically, in versions cf-release v231 and lower, as well as earlier versions of 1.5.x and 1.6.x, an attacker could exploit this flaw to input a compromised disk quota value. This manipulation may enable the attacker to exhaust disk resources on DEAs/CELLs, leading to service disruptions for legitimate applications and users.
