What is CVE-2016-10033?
A vulnerability exists in the mailSend function of the isMail transport in PHPMailer prior to version 5.2.18. This flaw enables remote attackers to inject additional parameters into the mail command, thus potentially executing arbitrary code. The exploitation occurs through a crafted Sender property containing a backslash double quote ('"'). As a result, the security of applications relying on this mail transport may be compromised, allowing for unauthorized operations and code execution.
