What is CVE-2016-10325?

In the GNU oSIP 4.1.0 library, a vulnerability exists in the handling of malformed SIP messages. This flaw can cause a heap buffer overflow within the _osip_message_to_str() function, potentially allowing an attacker to exploit the situation. By sending specially crafted SIP messages, an attacker could trigger a remote denial of service, impacting system stability and availability.
