What is CVE-2016-1365?

A security weakness in the Grapevine update process of Cisco's Application Policy Infrastructure Controller Enterprise Module (APIC-EM) 1.0 enables remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges. This vulnerability arises through the manipulation of crafted upgrade parameters, allowing attackers to gain unauthorized access and control over systems running this product.
