What is CVE-2016-15044?

A vulnerability has been identified in Kaltura Media Server where improper handling of serialized user data in the keditorservices module can allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary PHP code. By sending a specially crafted serialized PHP object through the kdata GET parameter to the redirectWidgetCmd endpoint, the attacker can exploit this weakness, gaining control over the web server process. This poses a significant security risk, emphasizing the importance of updating to the latest versions to mitigate potential exploits.
