CVE-2016-15049
5.1MEDIUM
What is CVE-2016-15049?
Versions of Nagios Log Server prior to 1.4.2 are vulnerable to a cross-site scripting (XSS) flaw in the Dashboards section. This issue arises when rendering untrusted log entries in the Logs table, where log content is inadequately encoded for output. As a result, malicious data inserted into logs can execute scripts within the application context in the user's browser, potentially compromising user sessions and sensitive information.
