What is CVE-2016-1519?
The Grandstream Wave app for Android versions 1.0.1.26 and earlier contains a vulnerability in the com.softphone.common package, which fails to correctly validate SSL certificates. This flaw could allow attackers to execute man-in-the-middle attacks, leading them to impersonate the Grandstream provisioning server by presenting a falsified certificate, thereby compromising user data and communication security.
