What is CVE-2016-1593?
A directory traversal vulnerability exists in the import users feature of Micro Focus Novell Service Desk. This flaw allows remote authenticated administrators to exploit the system by uploading and executing arbitrary JSP files. The vulnerability is triggered by manipulating the filename with the use of '..' sequences in a multipart/form-data POST request sent to the LiveTime.woa URL. If successful, this exploit could lead to unauthorized access and execution of arbitrary code on the server, posing significant risks to data integrity and service availability.
