Summary

A directory traversal vulnerability exists in the email-template feature of Novell Filr. This flaw allows remote attackers to bypass access restrictions and gain unauthorized write access to files by exploiting a path traversal technique using the '..' (dot dot) notation in a blob name. The vulnerability affects configurations prior to version 1.2 Security Update 3 and 2.0 before Security Update 2, enabling potential unauthorized actions on the filesystem.
