What is CVE-2016-20031?
ZKTeco's ZKBioSecurity 3.0 features a critical vulnerability that enables an attacker to bypass authentication through local spoofing. By exploiting the EnvironmentUtil.getClientIp() method, an attacker can authenticate to the system without valid credentials by using the IPv6 loopback address treated as localhost. With a hardcoded password of 123456, unauthorized users can gain access to sensitive information and execute unauthorized actions within the system.
