What is CVE-2016-20053?

Redaxo CMS 5.2 exhibits a cross-site request forgery vulnerability that can be exploited by unauthenticated attackers to create administrative accounts. By deceiving authenticated administrators into visiting specially crafted malicious web pages, attackers can manipulate the users' endpoint. They can inject HTML forms containing hidden fields that specify admin credentials and account parameters, enabling the unauthorized addition of new administrator accounts without the knowledge or consent of the actual users.
