What is CVE-2016-20085?

The Realtek High Definition Audio Driver version 6.0.1.6730 is susceptible to an unquoted service path vulnerability. This flaw can be exploited by local attackers who can place a malicious executable within the service path. By doing this, attackers may execute code with LocalSystem privileges after restarting the service, thereby gaining unauthorized access and control over the system.
